Summer is well underway, although the weather may say something different, I'm obsessed with that summer glow look. I've been after the perfect cheekbone highlighter and tried too many that make me look like a disco ball, not the look I was aiming for. Every time I would step foot near a MAC counter, I would try out the much hyped MSF in Soft & Gentle and add it to my lust list. Whilst waiting in duty free for 4 hours a couple of weeks ago, I made an impulsive holiday purchase and I don't regret it!
MAC Mineralize Skinfinsh in Soft & Gentle is a 'luxurious velvet-soft powder with high-frost metallic finish', MAC describe it a 'gilded peach bronze' colour which I agree with but I spot a gorgeous summery champagne glow there.
Although I would class it as a warm-toned highlighter suiting medium to dark skin tones, this is a universal highlighter. I initially used it at the beginning of my holiday where some would say I resembled Casper the ghost and it looked amazing. My friend used it on the same night and she has more olive-toned skin and it just added that perfect golden glow.
MAC MSF Soft & Gentle definitely deserves the hype in my books, it is such a gorgeous highlighter. It's so easy to apply, one quick swirl over my cheekbones using the Real Techniques Contour Brush and I'm left with the perfect amount of dewy glow. I'm constantly reaching for it and popping it on as part of my daily routine.
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle is available from MAC for £23.00.
